As a  Licensed Professional Counselor ,

I have many years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, children, adolescents, adults with disabilities, and people from a wide variety of backgrounds. As a parent who has raised a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), I am familiar with the challenges of raising a child who has special needs. I believe that all therapy should be trauma informed, as we all do the best we can with what we know and what has worked for us in the past. My primary approaches to therapy are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have specialized training in career counseling, and am fluent in American Sign Language. I offer a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours. I enjoy meeting people where they are, and developing goals together to help bring about positive change. Every person is able to learn new skills and improve their way of relating to themselves and others.  Fluent in American Sign Language.
